磷酸盐激光玻璃在干燥空气和纯水下的摩擦磨损性能研究

摘    要:通过直线往复摩擦磨损试验机,采用氧化铝陶瓷球作为对摩副,对比研究了磷酸盐激光玻璃在干燥空气和纯水中的摩擦磨损性能.结果表明:纯水下的摩擦系数远小于干燥空气中,液态水在摩擦过程中起到了一定的润滑作用.同等载荷下,磷酸盐激光玻璃的磨损深度和磨损体积在纯水中远大于干燥空气下,水促进了玻璃的材料去除,该玻璃在水下以摩擦化学磨损为主.虽然玻璃在水中的磨损深度较深但是其次表面损伤较浅,这归因于水润滑下摩擦剪切应力的大幅度降低.而干燥环境下,由于纯机械作用,其磨损深度较小,材料损伤以裂纹滋生和脆性剥落为主,并同时引发严重的次表层损伤.

Abstract:Using a reciprocating sliding tribometer, the friction and wear behaviors of phosphate laser glass were investigated against an alumina ceramic ball in dry air and water. Experimental results show that friction coefficients in water were lower than that in dry air, where liquid water played a lubrication role in the friction and wear process. Under the same load, the wear depth and wear volume of phosphate laser glass in water was much greater than that in dry air. Liquid water promoted the material removal of glass, and the wear mechanism in water was dominated by tribochemical wear. On the other hand, the subsurface damage of phosphate laser glass was mild in water, which is the result of a significant decrease of shear stress under water lubrication. In dry air, due to the pure mechanical action, the glass damage was dominated by crack initiation and brittle exfoliation, combining with a severe subsurface damage.
