| Abstract: | The front tracing methods including VOF and Level Set methods are reviewed in thepresent paper. These methods have been applied in a large number of engineering problems andillustrated here by an example: the Stefan problem. We also discussed the potential development ofthis technique in the future on dealing with surface such as phase interface, moving boundary, shockwave, etc. |
