| Abstract: | In this paper, some traditional methodsof developing constitutive equations are reviewedbriefly We concentrate on the irreversible thermo-dynamics and the dynamics variables based on theOnsager-Casimir reciprocal law to develop the rhe-ological equations. In the end, a simple shear fieldis used as an example to get the material functions. |
