压电圆柱形夹杂对邻近裂纹三维应力场的影响

摘    要:研究了压电复合材料薄板中压电圆柱形夹杂与邻近宏观钝裂纹间的相互作用。重点分析了外加电场,裂尖与压电圆柱形夹杂间韧带长度对裂尖三维应力场的影响。计算结果表明:在不同的外加电场作用下,压电体不仅能改变裂尖张开应力的大小,还能改变其分布。所得结果对进一步探讨线弹性介质中裂纹的启裂控制有参考价值。

Abstract:Three-dimensional finite element coupling-field analyses have been performed to investigate the interaction between a crack and a piezoelectric particle embedded in a non-piezoelectric elastic matrix. Attentions are paid on the influences of applied electric field loading and ligament length between the crack tip and piezoelectric particle on the three-dimensional stress fields in the vicinity of crack tip. By comparison with the crack-tip stress fields in a homogeneous linear elastic media, significant effects of the piezoelectric particle on the crack-tip field in a non-piezoelectric matrix are revealed. The results obtained in this paper show that under different applied electric loadings, not only the piezoelectric particle can affect the stress level, but also can change the distribution of stress field in front of the crack. This implies that the initiation of crack can be controlled by introducing piezoelectric particles into the non-piezoelectric materials.
