Abstract:A radio frequency (RF) driven negative ion source for NBI purpose was established at HUST. The main parameters include: pressure of 0.3Pa, frequency of 1MHz, ceramic cylinder diameter of 300mm. With 16kW RF power input the plasma density is greater than 1018m-3.
