| Abstract: | Necessary and sufficient conditions and corresponding transforms for reducing Second-order linear differential equations with variable coefficients to one's with constant coefficients are obtained by means of invarince of linear differential equation with respect to the change of independent variable and the change of dependent variable. A simple way for finding explicitly the general solution of those equations is given. |
