The interesting exotic pentaquark states |

| Abstract: | We review the recent experimental discovery of the pentaquarks and subsequent theoretical development in this hot field. We summarize and comment on the present knowledge of the quantum numbers of the pentaquark states.We also point out the demanding theoretical challenges. Finally we introduce our own research work briefly. |
