Abstract:
Common reconstructed fringes in holographic interferometry of vibration show rapidly diminishing intensity with extended amplitude limiting the measurement range. Using computer-simulated fringe patterns, linear histogram equalization is applied to redistribute the intensity for significant enhancement in the higher amplitude range. The cases of time-average and real-time single-frequency sinusoidal vibration are described.
