| Abstract: | The collapse and revival phenomena in the population inversion and the time evolution of the purity of an atom undergoing a two photon process are inverstigated when the cavity is supposed to be filled with a saturable Kerr like medium. This study reveals how the simultaneous occurence of two nonlinear processes and the saturation affect the atomic dynamics. Affect each other. |
