采用新型棱镜的光学隔离器

摘    要:在理论上分析并用实验研究了采用新型光学棱镜作起偏器、检偏器后与偏振无关的光学隔离器性能的变化。结果表明, 隔离器的反向隔离比在原来的基础上提高了将近一倍, 而正向插入损耗增加得很少。研制的光学隔离器光纤光纤的正向损耗与反向隔离比分别为- 0.82 d B 及- 48.1 d B。

Abstract:The perform ance of a polarization independent isolator using a new type polariz ing splitting prism are analysed in theory and studied by experim ent. Theoretical and experi m ental results indicate that the isolation is nearly tw o tim es greater than before, and the in sertion loss just increases a little. Experim ent show s that the insertion loss and the isolationfrom fiber to fiber of the isolator are - 0.82 d B and - 48.1 d B, respectively.
