| Abstract: | This paper reviews briefly the centennial history of room acoustics since W. C. Sabine, including the historical development of the room acoustics theory, the acoustic criteria and evaluation of concert halls, acoustical measurement techniques, scale model techniques, computer simulation technology and concert hall design. This paper also describes the contemporary state and future research directions of room acoustics. |
