Abstract:It is of great interest to measure the strains in metallic materials using the crossed gratings as sensors. In this paper, the grating diffraction equation is applied to the strain measurement of metallic materials. By combining hardwires such as LCCD with a software for data gathering and processing, the strains in metallic materials were measured exactly in a near time mode.
