摘    要: 指出了发表于《强激光与粒子束》刊2000年12卷6期由楚晓亮、张彬所写“部分相干高斯光束的M2因子及模系数”(简称楚文)一文中的错误并作了物理分析。首先,楚文没有什么新的结果,因为同样的方法和同样的结果可在《Opt.Lett.》1998年23卷13期和《Appl.Opt.》1999年38卷25期中查到。再者,在楚文中未对如何唯一确定束腰尺寸v0和如何产生他们所提出与文献2,3](文献3]发表于《IEEE J.Qua nt.Electron.》1999年35卷6期)不同的部分相干高斯光束作任何物理解释,甚至连“设束腰尺寸v0已知”的话也未提及,因此从楚文会导致错误的结论。

Abstract:The Errors in the paper entitled " M 2 factor and mode coefficients of partially coherent Gaussian beams" (X. Chu and B. Zhang) published in 12(6), (Nov.), 2000 (cited as Chu's paper) are point out and analyzed physically. First, the new result could not be found in Chu's paper, because the same method and same results were given in Ref. and published in , 23(13) July, 1. 1998 (Gori F, Santarsiero M, Borghi R, and Guattari G), and , 38(25), Sept. 1, 1999 (Santarsiero M, Gori F, Borghi R, and Guattari G.), respectively. Moreover, in Chu's paper any physical interpretation about the subjects "how to determine the waist size v 0 in a unique way" and "how to experimentally realize their partially coherent Gaussian beams differing from Ref. and (Borghi R. ,35(6), Jun. 1999) could not be found. Never even a word" provided that the waist size v 0 is known" is mentioned. Therefore, it might result in the incorrect conclusion from Chu's paper.
