摘    要: 为实现北京自由电子激光(BFEL)的受激辐射和饱和振荡,加速器的微波功率相位稳定度要小于1°。对微波相位的变化与速调管高压调制器人工线之间的关系做了仔细的实验研究。对高压调制器的48节人工线做了全面的优化调整。调整结果令人满意,在6 μs高压调制器最大脉宽里,速调管输出功率的微波相位纹波由调整前的2.6° 降到了± 1.5° ;在BFEL加速器实际使用的4 μs宽里,相位纹波仅为± 1°。

Abstract:To realize the saturation output of Beijing Free Electron Laser (BFEL), the phas e stability of RF power in accelerator is required to be less than ± 1°. In this paper, the relations between RF phase variation and the Pulse Form Net (PFN) in modulator of klystron are carefully studied through experiments. In order to meet the requirement of RF phase stability, all 48 sets of the PFN in HV modulator are repeatedly adjusted to obtain optimum result. In the pulse width of 6μs, RF phase ripple from the output of klystron is reduced to ±1.5° from ±2.6° before the adjustment; In th e pulse width of 4μs, practically used in BFEL, RF phase ripple is only ±1° .
