喇曼光纤放大器结构对性能的影响

摘    要:详细分析了拉曼光纤放大器的结构对性能的影响.基于受激喇曼散射效应中泵浦光与信号光之间相互作用的常微分方程,进行了数值模拟.模拟结果表明,喇曼光纤放大器结构对性能有着非常大的影响作用.后向泵浦结构,输出信号的光功率相对高于前向泵浦输出信号的光功率.当不考虑泵浦波动时,前向泵浦结构输出信号的信噪比高于后向输出信号的信噪比.在任何一种泵浦结构中都可获得高于41dB信噪比.设计了一种后向泵浦、增益平坦的放大器.该放大器可以实现90km、40×10Gbit/s复用信号的无损传输,增益波动小于1.2dB.

Abstract:The configurations of Raman fiber amplifier and their influence on the performance have been analyzed in detail. Simulation based on the ordinary differential equations of stimulated Raman scattering is performed. The results of simulation show that the configurations have great influence on the performance of amplifier. The output powers of signals in backward pumping configuration are higher comparatively. The OSNR with forward pumping is the highest without considering pumps ripple. The lowest OSNR in any pumping configuration is higher than 41 dB. A flat gain deployment has been realized with backward pumping, which can realize 90km lossless transmission of 40?10Gbit/s DWDM signals from channel 1-192.05THz to channel 40-195.95THz covering C-band. The gain ripple is below 1.2 dB.
