摘    要:本文提出一种基于光码分多址(OCDMA)技术的塑料光纤局域网的动态控制协议,用有限的码字来实现多于码字数目的多媒体工作站间的信息通信,而且当工作站数目增加时无需重新对网络进行初始化,工作站可随时加入网络.该协议特别适合可变信息长度的多媒体通信网络,通过数值分析和仿真实验,证明该动态控制协议的有效性和高效性.

Abstract:In this paper, a dynamic control protocol of plastic optical fiber local network based on optical code-division multiple access technique is proposed.In this optical local network,each optical network unit is equipped with a fixed optical encoder and a fixed optical edcoder,both of which are tuned to the control channel.Each optical network unit also has a tunable optical encoder and a tunable optical decoedr that can operate at any one of data channels independently.The novel protocol can be employed in the network with limited channels.The number of data channel does not restrict the number of unit in the network.This protocol can efficiently support variable-sized messages,and any new node can join the network at any time without requiring network initialization.The performance of the proposed protocol using various system parameters has been investigated by numerical analysis and simulation experiments.It is showed that the dynamic control protocol is valid and efficient.
