| Abstract: | Soliton propagation in twin-core fibers have been investigated based on a pair of coupled nonlinear Schrödinger equations.The switching characteristics have been studied.The new concept of vector field and its potential function are proposed to explain the switching behavior of the twin core fiber switch. |
