Study on The Adsorption Behaviour of Imidazole on Copper Electrode by SERS
Abstract:Abstract The adsorption of imidazole on a roughened copper electrode has been studied using SERS method.The SERS results have indicated that imida-zole can be adsorbed on the electrode surface bv the formation of N-Cu bond in a near-perpendicular orientation at PH4.0,7.0. It is concluded that imidazole was absorbed on Cu electrode at PH9.5 mainly by its ring being inclined to ward the surface at more pdsitive potential and at more negative potential,it was absorbed via N-Cu interation, this suggests a presumable orintation of im-idazole ring with respect to the electrode surface.
