The Structural investigation of Silic Aerogels Via Small Angle X－Ray Scattering |

| Abstract: | Abstract Silica aerogels were prepared through a sol-gel process with TEOS followed by supercritical drying with respect to CO_2． Samples of different den-sities， different catalyst conditions and other different preparation circum-stances were investigated via small-angle X－ray scattering （SAXS）； The pow-er-law dependence of the scattered intensity， a characteristic of fractal struc-tures， was observed for the acid， neutral and base catalyzed aerogels. Oxida-tion of the samples proved to only smooth the surface of the primary particles,it do not influence the aerogels structures. |
