Abstract:The investigation of the ultrawide band Raman light amplification by the joint effect of both Stimulated Four photon Mixing and Stimulated Raman Scatting in a minority mode fiber is described in this paper. Experimental results indicate that amplification does not depend siguificantly on the wavelength in the range of 5600-6100. The mechanism of amplification is also analyzed in this paper.
