Understanding of the SRS Stokes Spectrum in Fiber |

| Abstract: | Abstract We divided the entire spectral region of stimulated Raman scattering into a number of small frequency intervals. The intensity in each interval is regarded as an independent pump source which can be described by coupled differential equations. The Stokes spectrum in a fiber can be calculated by solving the equations with Runge-Kutta method. The shape of Stokes spectrum, the red shift of energy and the relation between the peak intensity and the fiber length were also studied. |
