Abstract:ASE(amplified spontaneous emission) fiber probe, which is used for SNOM(scanning near field optical microscopy), has been developed in this paper. This kind of probe has relatively high photon flux with an improvement of about 3 times over an ordinary probe. Its output spectrum is within 1531-1537 nm. The output power in 77K temperature is about 2.5 times as high as that in the normal temperature.
