| Abstract: | The temperature dependence of Raman spectra of α lithium iodate is studied. Frequencies and linewidths vary slightly vs temperature. We observe a progressive depolarization of the 148, 792 (A-type) and 330 cm-1 (E1-type) modes. The intensity of the central line increases sharply at the transition. |
