| Abstract: | A simple nonlinear stochastic system, an overdamped Kramers oscillator with multiplicative colored noise, is studied analytically
and by numerical simulation. It is shown that in the region where on-off intermittency occurs, the system becomes hypersensitive to weak external periodic signals.
