Abstract: | Recent research on future evolution of fiber optic gyros is discussed. Research factors to improve the functions of interferometer
fiber optic gyros in regard to light-source characteristics, temperature change induced drift, and cost reduction are reviewed,
and resonator fiber optic gyros and Brillouin fiber optic gyros are evaluated as next generation configurations. |
