Abstract:A method was established for the determination of 21 major,minor and trace elements in soil,stream sediment and rock by X-ray fluorescence spectrometry and inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry(XRF-ICP-AES).The major elements(Al,Ca,Fe,Mg,K,Na,Si)were determined by composite flux fusion and X-ray fluorescence spectrometry.The glass sample was decomposed with HNO3(φ=10%)and extracted with ultrasonic oscillation,then the minor and trace elements(Ba,Co,Cu,La,Mn,Sr,V,Zn,Y,Sc,Sn,Ta,Ti,Hf)were determined by inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry(ICP-AES).The national standard samples of GBW 07401—07408,GBW 07301—07312,GBW 07103—07108 were determined by the method,and the results were accorded well with the standard values.The method is suitable for quantitative analysis of multi-elements in soil,stream sediment and rock samples.
