Abstract:In this paper, experimental study on emission of nitrogen and NO_x formation during blended pulverized coal combustion have been done, it aims to find the NO_x formation mechanism and difference from individual coal, in order to find the available methods to reduce NO_x emission. The following important results have been obtained: the different component coals burn independtly and interaction; NO_x optimum value of blended coal depends on the relative N-contains and blend ratio and oxygen concentration; the time of NO_x optimum occur depends on the component coals volatile and blend ratio; in enough oxygen concentration condition, the emission of NO_x in late stage will increase, therefore, reducing NO_xduring blended coal combustion not Only should consider early stage combustion process,but also consider late stage combustion process.
