Abstract:A typical analytical solution of single shaft constant rotating speed gas turbine partload performance as well as its cogeneration part-load performance is derived based onanalytical typical component-mainly compressor, turbine and heat recovery steam generatorperformances. The derivation of appropriate component analytical performances is the keyto successfully obtain typical analytical performances of gas turbine and its cogeneration.The main criteria to select component performance analytical forms are given. Besidestheoretical meaning discussed in a succeeding paper, analytical solution can serve as thestandard solution to check the numerical solution and to improve the computational method.
