Abstract:On the basis of modifying low Reynolds number k-E model with Richardson number,simulated the velocity field distribution in a model furnace heated by flat-flame burner fromits top, and the affection of alternation of heat charge on the fluid field within the furnace.It was found that the calculated results of the fluid field within the furnace by means ofmodified turbulent model accorded well with measured data. Some valuable research andpractice were operated on the numerical simulation of strong swirl fluid field.
