Abstract:Zonal flows are universal phenomena in nature and have attracted interse interest in the magnetic fusion plasma physics community in recent years. The active studies in this field are aimed at an understanding of nonlinear physics processes responsible for coherent structure formation and for anomalous transport in plasmas.
