| Abstract: | By using the homogeneous balance principle(HBP)，authors derive a Backlund transfOrmation(BT)to the(2+1)-dimensional Broer-Kaup equation with variable coefficients．Based on the BT，authors give many kinds of the exact solutions of the equation． |
