| Abstract: | Stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) is discovered under picosecond laser excitation in a YAlO3 orthorhombic crystal, and its cascaded and cross-cascaded χ(3) nonlinear optical interactions are studied. Investigations revealed three SRS-active phonon modes of the crystal and identified all its recorded Stokes and anti-Stokes generation lines. |
