The Characteristics And Development Of High-Temperature Superconducting Transformer
Abstract:The high-temperature superconducting transformer, the most promising candidate for substitution of the conventional transformer in 21th century, has several advantages such as reduced size and weight, high efficiency and environmental benignity compared with the conventional one. In this paper, the developing process of the high-temperature superconducting transformers is reviewed firstly and then issues in further research are introduced on the basis of comparison with both low-temperature superconducting transformer and the conventional one. Finally, its developing foreground is looked forward.
