| Abstract: | A visual Sondhauss tube for teaching demonstration is introduced in this paper. After some preliminary experiments, the onset and offset mechanism of the Sondhauss tube is analyzed and the requirement of the sound-occurring is obtained, which is good for the beginners to understand the thermoacoustic effect and is helpful for the further research. This Sondhauss tube is simple and visual with low cost, which is an ideally experimental apparatus for thermoacoustic demonstration. |
