摘    要:首先从实验上研究了受激布里渊散射(SBS)的线宽压缩效应. 发现线宽压缩直接受到脉宽压缩的影响. 进而提出了一种通过测量SBS脉宽来测量SBS线宽的新方法. 在此基础上, 详细讨论了SBS的时间相干性, 指出 SBS的时间相干性不是固定不变的, 而是随线宽压缩的程度发生变化. 最后指出 SBS的脉宽压缩率和时间相干性不能同时达到最佳值.

Abstract:The effect of line width compression of stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) is investigated experimentally. It is found that the line width compression is directly related to the compression of pulse duration. A new method of measuring the line width of SBS through measuring the pulse duration is proposed. The temporal coherence of SBS is also investigated. It is revealed that the temporal coherence of SBS varies with the compression ratio of pulse duration. High pulse duration compression and good temporal coherence cannot be obtained simultaneously.
