| Abstract: | In order to investigate the nature of the charge carriers in NdCeCuO system, we prepared Nd1.85-xCe0.15CaxCuO4-δ and Nd2-xCaxCuO4-δ , and studied transport properties of them. With increasing Ca concentration, the sign of Hall coefficient is changed from negative to positive. The hole state in CuO2 plane arises from the lattice distortion induced by Ca doping, which leads to the- O2p band pass through the Fermi level. |
