Abstract: | The half-width and cross-relaxation parameter are calculated for a series of rotational transitions on the basis of a rigorous theory taking account of the correlational broadening of the doublet components. The absorption of the doublet lines of the transition J = 4 5 for the system NH3-N2 and the transition J = 5 6 for NH3-NH3 is analyzed.
