Abstract: | Susceptibility measurements at temperatures from 55 K to 620 K are reported for the mixed crystals KMn1-xCoxF3 where x 0.10. All the compounds show antiferromagnetism and a transition to a weak ferromagnetic phase below T N . The observed phase transition AF—WF is very sensitive to the presence of admixtures, which changes not only the phase transition temperature, but also it's character. A strong correlation between the structural and magnetic phase transition is evident from our study. |
