| Abstract: | This paper introduces the concept of local C-cosine family and inverstigate its basic properties. In particular,a characterization of the complete infinitesimal generator of a local C-cosinefacely is obtained.As an application of this theory to the second order abstract Cauchy problems,a characterization of the local C-well-posedness of these problems is given in terms of thelocal C-cosine family theory. |
