摘    要:Geometric continuity is a very important issue in CAGD and has gained more attention. In this paper we present the new concept of polynomial preserving Gn continuity (PPGn) between rectangular and triangular Bézier surfaces. Necessary and sufficient conditions of PPGn are established explicitly. A simple and useful sufficient condition is also presented. The results can be used more effectively in connecting surfaces and composing rectangular and triangular patches.
