| Abstract: | This paper aims at studying the property of B-splines associated with a linear dif-ferential operator. The quasi-interpolate functional concerning sueh B-splines is cons-tructed, and thus the open problem proposed by Carl de Boor in 1976 is solved. Further-more, the construction of the local linear functional with such B-splines is given and aseries of important results concerning such B-splines is obtained. |
