Abstract:	We construct a determinantal resolution of singularities for the universal subscheme in $\mathcal{S}{\text{ }} \times {\text{ }}H_{d + 1}$ and prove that it is isomorphic to the variety of total pairs $\widetilde{\mathcal{S}{\text{ }} \times {\text{ }}H_d }$ .
