Abstract:This paper is concerned with the stress intensity factor of a Griffith crack moving along the interface of two bonded isotropic elastic half planes. The analysis employs successive application of Galilean and Fourier transformations to lead to a set of simultaneous dual integral equations which can be further reduced to a system of algebraic equations by using Jacobi polynomials.
