| Abstract: | The solvability is considered for a class of third-order boundary value problems with first and second derivatives. The nonlinear term f satisfies a restriction of linear growth. By constructing a suitable Banach space and applying the Leray-Schauder nonlinear alternative, an existence theorem is proved. |
