| Abstract: | We study the existence of positive solutions for a functional integral equation using a fixed point theorem of expansion and compression type in a cone.Finally the main results are used to establish some existence results for positive solutions of integral boundary value problems for ordinary differential equations.The results presented substantially generalize and improve some recent ones due to Ma et al. |
