| 摘 要： | This paper discusses the global convergence of a class of nonmonotone conjugate gradient methods (NM methods) for nonconvex object functions. This class of methods includes the nonmonotone counterpart of modified Polak-Ribiere method and modified Hestenes-Stiefel method as special cases.
