| Abstract: | Additive maps between standard operator algebras on real or complex infinite dimensional Banach spaces completely preserving involution are characterized,and it shows that such maps are isomorphisms multiplied by a constant or(in the complex case) conjugateisomorphisms multiplied by a constant. |
