| Abstract: | We study spectrum of the operator which corresponds to the M/M/1 queueing model that is described by infinitely many partial differential equations and prove that if the arrival rate of customers λ and service rate of the server μ satisfy λ ＜ μ,λ2 + μ2 ≠ 3λμ,then-μ is not its eigenvalue. |
