摘    要:首先详细地讨论了非紧Lie群的度量和Cartan分解,然后由Lie群和对称空间的关系得到了非紧对称空间中的子流形焦点存在的充要条件,同时还给出了焦点重数的计算方法.

Abstract:Let G be a non-compact Lie group, and its Lie algebra. The structures of Liegroup G and its Lie algebra $are carefully studied, and the metric and Cartan decomposition of G and are given. From the relation between Lie group and symmetric space, andimportant necesary and sufficient condition for existence of focal points of a submanifold ina non--compact symmetric space is obtained. At the same time, a computational method forthe multiplicity of a focal point is also obtained.
