| Abstract: | In this paper we study the higher accuracy methods-the extrapolation and defect correction for the semidiscrete Galerkin approximations to the solutions of the parabolic equations. Theglobal extrapolation and the correction approximations of third order, rather than the pointwiseextrapolation results, are derived. |
